What Happens to Fat Cells During SculpSure Body Contouring?

Not sure what SculpSure is all about?

SculpSure is a non-invasive procedure that uses diode laser technology to get rid of fat. Transmitted through the skin, the energy released by the machine is absorbed by fatty tissues. This energy absorption then results to the disintegration of fat.

SculpSure is basically like a sniper. It only kills what you want it to kill and because of this accuracy, many opt to get SculpSure body contouring done instead of going under the knife.

The question is, does it hurt?

It can cause mild discomfort for some while little to no discomfort in others. It all depends on your pain tolerance.

You will experience 25 minutes of a heat/ chill cycle. The area will be heated for a segment of time then the machine will release a chill cycle and repeat. These cycles will alternate throughout the 25 minute procedure.

Once done, the area will be a bit tender to the touch, but otherwise back to normal. In fact, you can continue your day as planned and can even exercise the next day if you feel like it.

Where exactly does the fat go after SculpSure?

Many of our patients ask this question. After a SculpSure session, fat cells are permanently destroyed. They are later removed naturally with the help of the lymphatic system. During this process, dead fat cells fall apart and are liquefied. They are then processed through the liver and are excreted as waste. Results are already noticeable in as early as six weeks.

Is SculpSure the right procedure for you?

If you have trouble spots that just won’t go away even when you diet and exercise, it may be time to come in for a consultation. Most who undergo SculpSure body contouring often only need one treatment to get rid of stubborn fat. However, some book additional treatments to get desired results.
